It's a Tuesday night in July and you want to get together and talk shop with other Bay Area Photobloggers, so please come to Crossroads Cafe (pics here, review here, map here) and join us at 7pm!

I'm sorry that I won't be able to join you - clashes with my book group and as I chose the book this time I can't miss it. You do know there's a SF Giants home game that night? I'm not proud of it but I'm not very PC and avoid public transport unless I'm desperate and finding parking when there's a game can be difficult - I know I'm not the only one who loves there car.

I would love to, and that is one of the few days in July I'm most likely home, but trying to get into the city when there is a game going is really a horrid experience.
I'll put it on the calendar anyway, but its pretty unlikely.

Hi!
My name is Erik and I just started shooting again after a long hiatus away from photography. In an attempt to keep the momentum rolling, I started a daily photo blog.
I don't know any of you, but am based out of Oakland. If it's OK, I'd like to stop by on the 19th. It'd be fun to talk shop.

I'm in. I'll be officially "on the clock" at work, but I work more or less next door. So, dropping by shouldn't be a problem (though I will be about 45-mins late or so-- is that ok?).

FYI -- Flickr meetup was at Cross Roads on a Thursday Game night and though I took the train, I understand that parking was to be had. The cafe was pretty much empty and little evidence of the "go giants" business happening just a couple of blocks away.
