Anyone interested in an October Meetup?
"Hey, how's it going? Is this still the right contact info for you? This is Martin; we met at the Bay Area Photoblogger's meetups a couple of times, remember? Yeah, I've been following your RSS feed and your photography looks to be going well; interesting stuff.
"How long has it been? I know how it is; life gets in the way, yada yada, and the next thing you know it's been a year or two. So, I was thinking about you the other day and was wondering what you are up to. I thought we should get together for a beer or coffee and catch up. We could meet at the old place, or somewhere new. Are you free any weekend afternoon in October? Anyway, let me know what works for you if you're interested.
"Better go now and get back to work but I hope you're keeping well and I hope to hear from you soon.
"Bye!"

Mexico as Muse
Mexico as Muse, an exhibit featuring the work of Tina Modotti and Edward Weston from their life in Mexico during the turbulent 1920's runs at SF MOMA through January 2, 2007. The exhibition features not only the gorgeous work of these two pioneers of 20th century photography, but shares ephemera from their real life relationship and the effects of the political turmoil around them as well. Picturing Modernity and Imposing Order photography exhibitions are also going on at SF MOMA right now. I for one can't wait to see them all. Enjoy!
